PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR RING-FORM ITEM

PURPOSE: To prevent a packaging material from being torn at a heat-sealed part by a method wherein a packaging material for packaging an item to be packaged is bonded into a ring form by heat sealing at two or more sealed lines, and at least one of the seal lines is a dot seal and at least one of the seal lines is a linear seal. CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of heat shrinkable cloth 5 are respectively pulled out of two rolls. The end parts thereof are bonded to each other by heat sealing through a sleeve hot plate sealing machine 8 consisting of a hot plate 6 and a receiving plate 7. A ring-form item 4, such as a tire, is passed through between the two rolls so as to be covered with the cloth 5 along the outer peripheral surface thereof. The ring-form item 4 is packaged by sleeve packaging by thermally treating and shrinking the cloth 5 after the two sheets of cloth 5 are heat-sealed to each other to be formed into a cylinder. In this case, a heat sealing part is made of a dot seal line 1 and a linear seal line 2, and the dot seal line 1 is formed by arranging dot seal parts 3 in the longitudinal direction of the heat sealing part.
