AIR BAG DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device for vehicles capable of protecting the occupants at the time of vehicle collision and avoiding trouble to the eardrum of a human body due to sudden pressure rise at the time of air bag inflation. CONSTITUTION: An air bag device for a vehicle is composed by providing an air cylinder 35 for moving a slide plate 33 provided on the opening part of a driver's cab and a controller 28 for actuating air bags 5, 8, 9, 19 after supplying air to the air cylinder 35 by making a solenoid valve 38 work when a sensor 29 works. Thus, by opening the driver's cab to the open air upon supplying air to the slide plate 33 by making the solenoid valve 38 and making the slide plate 33 move before air bags 5, 8, 9, 10 are actuated, trouble to the eardrum of a human body caused by sudden pressure rise at the time of inflation of air bags 5, 8, 9, 10 can be avoided.
