Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a welding method to eliminate the crack pseudo defect of the multi-pass butt welding in achieving the welding or the circumferential welding of a steel structure. CONSTITUTION: In the welding of at least the second and the third pass bead subsequent to the initial back bead welding of the multi-pass butt welding, the alternate welding of two passes of 5-15kJ/cm in the heat input for each pass where the base metal side deviated to the rear surface side due to the misalignment is the preceding pass is achieved. In addition, the welding heat input of the preceding pass is set to 15-25kJ/cm, while the welding heat input of the succeeding pass is set to 5-12kJ/cm.
