Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a methine dyestuff coupler, having good stability and dyestuff hue by including into this element a base which carries photographic silver halide emulsion layers combined with couplers high in a specific dyestuff yield. CONSTITUTION: This photographic element includes the base which carries the photographic silver halide emulsion layers, combined with the couplers having the high dyestuff yield, expressed by formula I. In the formula, COUP is a photographic coupler residue capable of forming the first dyestuff, by coupling with a color developing agent oxidant; T is a timing group; (m) is an integer from 0 to 2; L is a combination group, selected from a group consisting of -OC(=O)-, -OC(=S)-, etc.; DYE is releasable second dyestuff or dyestuff precursor which is expressed by formula II and has a desired range of light absorption wavelengths. In the formula II, R is an alkyl or aryl group; A is an aryl ring; R is an alkyl group; P is an integer from 0 to 3; Z, Z' and Y' are hydrogen, etc.; Y is an electron withdrawing group; (n) is 0, 1 or 2 and B is a specific heterocycle.
