Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain the subject short fibers improved in dispersibillty, obviating foreign substance development contributing to rubber cracking, capable of improving adhesive impregnability thereinto, improved in productivity, and capable of improving rubber wear resistance due to their dry heat shrinkage and adhesive basis weight. CONSTITUTION:Warps 2 are first produced by soft and single twisting of multifilament yarns at a number of twist of 4-9 turns/10cm. These warps 2 are then arranged in parallel with one another within a specified width, and, in this state, wefts 3 are woven in the longer direction into the warp rows at a density of 1-3 counts/5cm to produce a fabric 1. Next, the fabric is subjected to adhesive heat treatment so as to stand at 2-5wt.% in the adhesive basis weight and 1-4% in dry heat shrinkage, and then cut to a specified length, thus affording the objective short fibers. |
