Water-pressure boxes 1 constituted by arranging a recessed part 3 on the surface faced to the cast slab 50, cooling water holes 2 bored on this recessed part 3 and a guide plate 4 partitioning this recessed part 3 in the width direction of the cast slab 50 to each, are arranged at just below this water-cooling mold part 51 while forming a gap (g) between the cast slab 50 and this box. By this method, the thickness of non-solidified cast slab can be kept to uniform.
