Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the damage to a switch or a resistor due to overcurrent and to improve reliability in a D/A converter circuit using a weighting impedance. CONSTITUTION:A protecting circuit 22 is provided for preventing overcurrent due to short-circuiting between input terminals 1 and 2. Then, when switch control signals 29, 30 and 31 from a control circuit 21 are changed, it is prevented that whole b-contact switches 11, 12 and 13 and a-contact switches 14, 15 and 16 are simultaneously turned on.
