Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make the outer side surface temperature distribution even, and to raise the temperature rapidly, by forming a heating element by dispersing a high polymer heat absorber which consists of an aromatic compound having benzene ring, in a carbon electrode. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic compound having a functional group is dispersed in the carbon particles of an electrode made of a carbon material to compose a heat source, and in the case of for infrared ray radiator, the compound is dispersed in the ceramic particles to compose the radiator. And the aromatic compound is impregnated in a nonwoven fabric member, and the nonwoven fabric member is provided around or near a heat source. The optical wavelength absorption spectrum of the aromatic compound having a functional group has a wide region extending from the ultraviolet region to the infrared region. When infrared rays are irradiated continuously from the heat source on the aromatic compound, the molecles and the atoms absorb the rays resonantly, and emit infrared rays by induction. And when the surface of a radiator is covered with the aromatic compound, this compound converts the light in the ultraviolet and visible regions into an infrared region having a wide absorption band, and it raises the temperature of the ceramic radiator and magnifies the amplitude of the infrared rays.
