ARTIFICIAL SNOW DISPOSAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE:To significantly reduce the quantity of solid waste in the disposal of snow by supplying artificial snow and a dehydrating agent by first and second supply means, mixing the artificial snow with the dehydrating agent by a mixing means and solid/liquid separating a material discharged from the mixing means. CONSTITUTION:Waste snow discharged upon maintenance of a slope is thrown into waste snow receiving tanks 1a and 1b and supplied under pressure and stacked into a snow storage tank 2 by pumps 4a and 4b. Then, the waste snow is supplied to a reaction vessel 5 by a pump 10 as a first supply means from the snow storage tank 2 and a dehydrating agent is supplied from a chemical tank 7 by an amount corresponding to the amount of supply of the waste snow, by a pump 12 as a second supply means. This waste snaw is mixed with the dehydrating agent by an agitator 6 as a mixing means. The mixture is supplied to a solid/liquid separator 13 by a pump 14 so that it is separated into waste liquid and a solid material. The solid material is fed to a container 16 and the waste liquid is fed to a waste liquid tank 17. Thus, the solid waste of the waste snow can be reduced.
