Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a holding rotation device for a shaft, which can surely hold and rotate the driving shafts of different shapes. CONSTITUTION:A first drive hardware 331 is floatingly supported along the radial direction to move a turning cylinder 326 to the driving shaft 11 side through a holding shaft 78 and a supporting cylinder 321 and selectively lock either one of the internal tooth serration 333 of the first drive hardware 331 mounted on the turning cylinder 326 or the internal tooth serration 334 of a second drive hardware 332 to the serration of the drive shaft 11 and rotate the rotary cylinder 326, thereby rotating the driving shaft 11 through the first drive hardware 331 or the second drive hardware 332.
