WELDING METHOD OF MAIN COLUMN

PURPOSE:To provide the device of compact, easy traveling/handling, having simplified setting to a main column and capable of improving welding efficiency by a welding slag removing device and wind protection device. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 1 is provided with a fork shape carrier frame and is constituted so that its plane shape is of U shape, support columns 18, which have support shafts 19 parallel with the center axis line of carrier 1, are elected at the front/rear end of both carrier frame constituting the carrier 1, and a fixed frame plate 21 is arranged between rear support shafts 19. Further, the device respectively supports traveling frame plates 22, which are connected to both ends of the fixed frame between front/rear support shafts and can obtain the horizontal position while forming square frame shape in plane shape and the vertical position to insert/accommodating the main column 2 while traveling the carrier by turning 90 deg., a welding robot device 4 is mounted free to travel on the rails arranged at the lower faces of the fixed frame plate and both moving frame plates 22 and connected each other.
