DEVICE FOR REARING ANIMAL

PURPOSE:To obtain an animal-rearing device capable of improving the receiving efficiency of a cage on the basis of a rearing rack, capable of being easily disassembled and subsequently carried to a cleaning room, etc., and further enabling to exchange a drain board on the bottom surface of the cage from forward. CONSTITUTION:A back plate 19 is detachably attached to the back surface of a rearing rack 1 through fixing members to form the rear surface of the cage 12, and the catching members 14 of dividing plates 16 are inserted into and engaged with the upper support rails 13, respectively, on the lower surface of each rack plate 2 from forward to use the dividing plates 16 also as the side surfaces of the adjacent cages on each stage. The opening or closing shafts 22 of a lattice door 23 are pivotally attached and held to a shaft holder 24 at the front end of one of the adjacent dividing plates 16, and the catching member 21 of the lattice door 23 is caught with a lock mechanism 25 at the front end of the other to use the lattice door 23 as the front surface of the cage 12. Catching members 17 formed at both the sides of a drain board 18 are inserted into and engaged with the lower support rails 15 at the lower ends of the adjacent dividing plates 16 to form the bottom surface of the cage 12.
