COMBUSTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To obtain a combustion system which is compact and can utilize the heat of a combustion apparatus effectively, by providing a combustion apparatus and a fuel cell, and arranging the fuel cell at the combustion part of the combustion apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A boiler 3 has a water storage tank, and a combustion chamber 2 in which a burner 4 is provided. The burner 4 in the combustion chamber 2 burns by using a hydrocarbon system gas fed from a feeding source as a fuel, and raises the temperature in the combustion chamber 2, and the burner 4 and the feeding source of the hydrocarbon system gas are connected through a passage A. On the other hand, the water fed from a water feeding hole 1a is stored in the water storage tank 1, and this water is made into a hot water or a steam by the heat of the burner 4, and it is to be picked up from an output port lb. Furthermore, an evaporator 5, a reformer 6, a molten carbonate type fuel cell 7, and a backfire preventive device 8 are provided in the combustion chamber 2 of the boiler 3.
