NATURAL LANGUAGE ANALYSIS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the natural language analysis device which can analyzes the structure of a natural language sentence such as colloquial words which frequently deviate from specific grammar. CONSTITUTION:A language pattern retrieval part 3 retrieves a language pattern which can match the natural language sentence according to respective words of the inputted natural language sentence by referring to a language pattern retrieval table in a memory 13 wherein the relation between words and language patterns is described. Then a language pattern matching part 4 combines the language pattern retrieved by the retrieval means with surface layer words or phrases included in the inputted natural language sentence, collates the combination with the inputted natural language sentence, and determines and outputs structure consisting of a combination of the language pattern and surface layer words or phrases for the inputted natural language sentence on the basis of a matching combination.
