HEATING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To dispense with a component used exclusively for a short-circuiting path, such as a capillary tube, by providing a connecting port on the outgoing side and a connecting port on the return side in one body or integrally and by forming short- circuiting paths communicating with each other inside the connecting ports of the outgoing and return sides with a prescribed resistance CONSTITUTION:The main body of a connecting port 7a on the outgoing side and that of a connecting port 7b on the return side are joined in one body by a screw with the respective lateral side parts made to face each other. The lateral side parts of these main bodies in each of which a thin hole for a short-circuiting path 35 and a hole having a larger hole diameter than the thin hole are formed sequentially are made to face each other and connected together, with an O ring 30 interposed. The short-circuiting paths 35 for coupling hot water passages 33a and 33b are formed for the connecting port 7a on the outgoing side and the connecting port 7b on the return side respectively. These short-circuiting paths 35 couple the paired hot water passages 33a and 33b together, with a prescribed resistance give, and thereby hot water is made to circulate through a heat exchange circuit until an opening regulating valve brings about a prescribed opening, while a circulating pump is driven, or the hot water in a quantity not causing hindrance to the circulating pump is thereby made to circulate through this circuit in an emergency.
