Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for inexpensively and simply producing a soil disease-controlling agent containing a fungus belonging to the genus Gliocladium and having sufficiently formed spores and reduced in the falling of the spares, and further to provide a method for safely and effectively controlling soil diseases with the soil disease-controlling agent. CONSTITUTION:In the method for producing the soil disease-controlling agent used for plants and compounded with the culture product of a fungus belonging to the genus Gliocladium, the compounded fungus is cultured in a medium containing a solid component originated from a plant and a porous carrier. The soil disease-controlling agent obtained by the production method is applied to a culture soil to control the soil diseases of the plant.
