Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To miniaturize the structure of a stacker in a banknote processing machine. CONSTITUTION: The banknotes located in a transport path 21, after being tested and calassified, are delivered from the transport path 21 by a suitably controlled switches 50. Deflecting means 60 following the switches 50 rotates and deflects the moving direction of the sheets and supplies the banknotes to the stacking pockets 44 of the stacking unit 41 of the banknotes processing machine. The entrance port of the stacking pocket 44 is preferably arranged vertically against the transport direction.
