DEVICE FOR FIXING AND CLAMPING PRINTING PLATE FOLDED IN Z SHAPE AT ITS END PART

PURPOSE: To accurately bring an intaglio into coincidence with a bent profile of a plate cylinder in a range of the end bent in a Z shape. CONSTITUTION: Two rotatable engaging members 2, 3 for engaging first bent parts 4, 6 at radial outside of the end bent in a Z shape of an intaglio plate 8 have an outer face 5 with the same bent profile as that of the intaglio plate cylinder 1. A bar material 21 having a trapezoidal cross section movable against a spring action toward radial inside of the cylinder is disposed in a cylinder groove 7. Corner edges 26, 27 formed between both sides 22, 23 of the bar material and a bottom 24 are engaged with radial inside second bent parts 17, 18 of the end bent in the Z shape of the plate.
