Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the injection apparatus capable of easily discharging powder activated carbon in an activated carbon silo. CONSTITUTION:A powder activated carbon injection apparatus has a hermecically closed activated carbon silo 28 storing dried powder activated carbon, the dry compressed air supply pipings 53, 71 connected to the activated carbon silo 28 and supplying dry compressed air to the activated carbon silo 28, the pressure gauge arranged to the activated carbon silo 28 to detect the pressure in the activated carbon silo 28 and the pressure adjusting valves arranged to the dry compressed air supply pipings 53, 71 and opened and closed corresponding to the pressure in the activated carbon silo 28 to set the interior of the activated carbon silo 28 to a pressurized state. Since the interior of the activated carbon silo 28 is held to a pressurized state, high humidity air is not introduced into the activated carbon silo 28. Therefore, powder activated carbon can be easily discharged from the activated carbon silo 28 over a long period of time.
