FILTER PLATE FOR PRESS-FILTRATION MACHINE

PURPOSE: To make it simple to attach a clamping ring while securing the sealing of a pressing membrane against a filter plate of a filter press. CONSTITUTION: The filter plate 1 has at least one pressing membrane 5 covered with a filter cloth 7, the filter plate 1 and the pressing membrane 5 have at least one flow port 2 in common, the edge of the flow port 2 of the pressing membrane 5 has an annular edge protuberance and this edge protuberance is held within a groove existing in the edge of the flow port 2 of the filter plate 1 with the clamping ring 14. A bearing surface 16 of the clamping ring 14 to the edge protuberance is extended approximately at right angles with a centerplane M of the filter plate 1 or is inclined at a slight acute angle toward the centerplane M of the plate.
