Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce a polyether-ester elastic yarn which has excellent elastic recovery and resistance to chemicals and heat through a process which can be readily implemented in an industrial scale. CONSTITUTION:A polyether-ester elastic yarn including poly(ethylene terephthalate) and/or ply(butylene terephthalate) as a hard segment and a linear polyalkylene glycol as a soft segment is melt-extruded into a yarn at a spinning rate of 400-800m/min, then the yarn is solidified by cooling, treated with a finishing oil and relaxed without heating under at a relaxation rate satisfying the expression: 0.01V
