LONGITUDINALLY CARRYING DEVICE OF COMBINE HARVESTER

PURPOSE:To obtain a longitudinally carrying device of a combine harvester capable of sufficiently enlarging the control range of threshing depth and preventing the ear tip of a long grain straw from remaining in a non-threshed state due to an excessive threshing depth. CONSTITUTION:An ear tip side-catching and carrying device 12 and a straw foot side-catching and carrying device 14 which are set in back side-raised postures in states that the tips of the devices 12 and 14 are placed below the back surface of a grain straw-raising device 7, respectively, are vertically movably disposed on a rear support point P. The ear tip sides and foot sides of reaped grain straws are separately supported with the catching tines 17, 19 of the ear tip side catching and carrying device 12 and the catching projection- having chain 36 of the straw foot side-catching and carrying device 14, respectively, and the reaped grain straws are carried toward the starting end part of a feeding chain 10 in a rear threshing device 3. The tip parts of the catching tines 17, 19 in the ear tip side-catching and carrying device 12 are made from flexible and elastic members.
