PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation in a terminal box by fixing the terminal box to a frame by forming a space section between the box and frame and, at the same time, by constituting the terminal box of a terminal seat which supports a terminal block and a cover which is fitted to the seat and covers the terminal block. CONSTITUTION:A terminal box 121 is constituted of a terminal block seat 122 and a cover 123. A space section 122b is formed between the seat 122 and a frame 104 so as to reduce the contacting area between the seat 122 and frame 104. Therefore, cold heat is hardly conducted to the seat 122 from the frame 104. In addition, when ventilating holes 122c communicating with the outside air are formed through the seat 122, the internal temperature of the box 121 becomes almost equal to the external temperature of the box 121 and dew condensation hardly occurs in the box 121. In addition, the airtightness of a stator chamber is also secured surely, because the molded rubber section 144 of a molded-rubber plug 141 which airtightly blocks the outlet of the box 121 is pressed against the frame 104.
