Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To accurately position components and to reduce the size and thickness of an integrated optical unit by fixing a semiconductor laser, a signal detecting photodetector to the vertical wall of a mounting board, and fixing reciprocating isolation elements to the two protruding corners of the wall. CONSTITUTION:A mounting board 600 is removed except protrusions 601-605 by anisotropic etching. The left end vertical wall of the protrusion 601 is coated, a semiconductor layer 101 is positioned there, and the position is adjusted, and connected to it. The corners of the protrusions 602, 603 are used as positioning guides, a multi-image parallel flat plate 301 is inhibited to be rotated, and adhered. Further, on the right end vertical walls of the protrusions 604, 605, a signal detecting photodetector 306 is mounted as to be x-y-adjustable. A light quantity monitoring photodetector 305 is positioned at the upper end vertical walls of the protrusions 603, 604 by roughly regulating and adhered. Thus, the optical conjugate distance relationship among the laser 101, the plate 301 and the detector 306 is easily held and the distance relationship in the optical axial directions can be precisely obtained.
