LIQUID-TYPE SOIL MOISTURE-TREATING AGENT

PURPOSE:To provide a liquid type soil moisture-treating agent which comprises an alkylene oxide derivative, glycerol, fillers and a moisture-absorbing resin, thereby showing moisture-absorbing properties, uniform dispersion and enabling its viscosity and water absorption to be set to any desired level. CONSTITUTION:This treating agent comprises (A) a powdery or granular water- absorbing resin (for example, crosslinked acrylate salt polymer, crosslinked starch-acrylic acid graft copolymer, preferably having 20-1,000mum, particularly 50-500mum particle sizes), (B) at least one of liquid substance selected from alkylene oxide derivatives (for example, monoethylene glycol, diethylene glycol) and/or glycerol and (C) at least one selected from inorganic and/or organic fillers. In a preferred embodiment, ingredient A is used in an amount of 100 pts.wt.; ingredient B is in 30-10,000 pts.wt.; and ingredient C is in 0.1-10,000 pts.wt.
