TWO STAGE TYPE PARKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent possible damage with a motor suspended when a pallet is hit against any obstacle while it is being lowered down by providing a limit switch for the pallet support section of a two stage type parking device employing a screw shaft type elevating means. CONSTITUTION:A nut 30 which is inserted into the center hole of the support plate section 27a of a bracket 27 fixed onto a connection member 26, is engaged with a screw shaft 31 which is rotatably and vertically supported on a machine frame, and a pallet support section, a pallet and the weight of a vehicle are thereby supported on a flange section 36a. Paired bolts 39 are slidably inserted into the support plate section 27a and the flange section 36a, and a lock nut 39a is fixed onto its lower end. Meanwhile, a limit switch 50 is installed onto a mounting plate 53 at the tip end of the support plate section 27a, and the roller 52 of an operating lever is brought into contact with the lower surface of the flange section 36a. A motor is driven, while the pallet is lowered down via a nut 36, if the pallet is blocked in lowering by an obstacle, and when the flange section 36a is lowered down while being separated by a distance more than a specified one from the support plate section 27a, the limit switch 50 is actuated, and the motor drive is thereby suspended.
