Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a pattern-dyed product in a few steps while keeping a high resolution even in dyeing many colors. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing a pattern-dyed product is to irradiate a thin film containing a polymeric substance having functional groups capable of producing amino groups by irradiation of light as an active ingredient with the light, partially produce the amino groups, then react a compound, having a chromophoric group and covalently bonding with the amino groups in the thin film and selectively dye only the part irradiated with the light.
