MANUFACTURE OF BATTERY POLE PLATE

PURPOSE: To provide a useful manufacturing method of a battery electrode plate by which occurrence of an internal short circuit is suppressed when a power generation element of a cylindrical battery is manufactured. CONSTITUTION: A group of lower rollers 3 are composed of plural lower rollers 3a, 3b, 3c which are arranged with predetermined spacings, and a group of upper rollers 5 are composed of plural upper rollers 5a, 5b which are arranged above mutual spacing portions 4a, 4b of the lower rollers 3a, 3b, 3c. Between the group of the lower rollers 3 and the group of the upper lowers 5, bending works of an electrode plate 1 are repeatedly conducted in a state that both faces 1a, 1b thereof are sandwiched by thin leaf bodies 6a, 6b which are longer than that of the electrode plate sheet 1. Thereby, fine cracks are formed on the surfaces of the electrode sheet 1.
