DEVICE FOR EVALUATING STAMPER FOR OPTICAL DISK

PURPOSE: To obtain a device for evaluating a stamper for optical disk which is simple in constitution, capable of inexpensively executing evaluation, and has a fixing means capable of stably holding the stamper on a turn table. CONSTITUTION: The turn table 1 is freely rotatably attached to the shaft holder 4. A magnet 2 and a magnet holder 3 attaching this magnet to at are irranged on the circumference of the shaft holder 4 below the turn table 1. The magnet driving part 3b of the magnet holder 3 is composed of a gear 3d freely rotatably attached to a base body 3c and is meshed with a rack 3e formed in the magnet holding part 3a. The magnet is made vertically movable in the axial line direction of a revolving shaft 1b by rotating the gear 3d forward or backward. The stamper 11 placed on the turn table is chucked to the turn table 1 by its magnetic force when the magnet is raised. The magnetic force acting on the stamper is decreased and the removal of the stamper is possible when the magnet is lowered.
