Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To make it possible to generate a protective anticorrosion film on the surface of a copper alloy-made heat transfer tube by supplying a specified amount of iron ions into seawater over a long time in a heat exchanger provided with copper alloy-made heat transfer tubes which employs seawater as a cooling medium. CONSTITUTION: In a heat exchanger provided with copper alloy-made heat transfer tubes which uses seawater as a cooling medium, an iron electrode 1 which supplies iron ions into the seawater is laid out in the seawater in the heat exchanger in the form of a wire. An electrode insertion device 4 is installed, which transfers the iron electrode 1 into the seawater in continuous mode.
