Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a filter medium causing no deformation even in high pressure filtration and having excellent trapping ratio of SS by mixing a synthetic resin filament having large diameter with a synthetic resin filament having small diameter. CONSTITUTION:The plate like filter medium having fine gaps inside and 3-10mm thickness is formed by mixing the synthetic resin filament 1 having 100-500mum diameter with the synthetic resin filament 1a having 30-100mum diameter and bonding to each other with a fusing material and cut into 10-50mm square to make filter medium piece. The filter medium piece withstands filtration pressure and does not deform by the filament having large diameter and traps the SS in an original liquid by the filament having small diameter. The filter medium has larger porosity and more excellent in filterability compared with the conventional granular filter medium.
