Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain devil's tongue refined flour having high whiteness by carrying out drying treatment of devil's tongue raw material using a gas fuel not containing dioxide ion causing problem on food safety standard and not containing any component exhibiting bleaching action. CONSTITUTION: High-temperature hot air is blown to devil's tongue raw material sliced in chip-like shape to carry out drying treatment of the surface of devil's tongue in an oven of upper drying furnace 1 and then, the devil's tongue raw material is fed into an oven of the lower drying furnace 2 and drying treatment of the devil's tongue raw material is carried out so as to dry the interior of the raw material by hot air having ordinary temperature.
