RODENTPROOF PROTECTING TUBE, RODENTPROOF METHOD USING THE SAME AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide a rodentproof method by which the conventionally difficult adaptation to electrical equipment such as an already installed electric wire or a cable is readily made. CONSTITUTION:This rodentproof protecting tube 1 has a linear notch extending in the tube longitudinal direction in a tubular protecting tube comprising a synthetic resin and contains a rodentproof agent in at least the surface thereof. The rodentproof method is to attach the rodentproof protecting tube 1 to an electric wire or a cable 4 according to a winding or an inserting method, etc. Thereby, the tube can readily be attached to all kinds of electric wires or cables. Furthermore, this method can be applied to not only the electric wires or cables but also all kinds of linear or tubular materials and has high general- purpose properties. The rodentproof treatment of plural electric wires or cables can collectively be carried out according to operations at a time by selecting rodentproof spiral tubes of a suitable thickness.
