HIGH-STIFFNESS THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: To obtain a high-stiffness thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in stiffness, shock resistance and snap-fit strength and can be used over a wide range of applications. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by kneading a mixture comprising (A) 40-99wt.% of one or two kinds of styrene resins prepared by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound or a mixture thereof with another monomer copolymerizable with the aromatic monomer in the presence or absence of a rubber polymer, (B) 60-1wt.% of an inorganic filler and (C) 0.01-5 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. of (A)+(B), of an unsaturated compound bearing at least one functional group selected from carboxyl, acid anhydride, hydroxyl, epoxy and oxazoline groups.
