Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To facilitate the transportation and handling of silica fume by slurrying silica fume with a polycarboxylic acid salt and water. CONSTITUTION: The objective silica fume for mixing to cement is produced by mixing (A) 100 pts.wt. of silica fume having an average particle diameter of about 0.1μm with (B) 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. of a water-soluble alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of a copolymer of an ethylenic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and a chain or cyclic olefin or styrene, usable as a water-reducing agent for cement, and (C) 50-150 pts.wt. of water. The performance as a cement mixing material can be exhibited by adding 5-30 pts.wt. of the slurry silica fume to 100 pts.wt. of cement.
