Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To reliably trip a circuit breaker even when an abnormal load acts on an operation rod. CONSTITUTION: An operation rod which is connected to a main shaft 21 and operates a load of a circuit breaker external part, is divided into the main shaft side 19 and the load side 18, and these are elastically connected to each other in the shaft direction so as to be extensible and contractible, and are constituted so that a trip coil 13 can perform trip operation when an interval between the main shaft side and the load side contacts. On an interval between a main shaft side rod 19 and a load side rod 18, an interval detecting part is formed by using a release 12 or the like, and the trip coil 13 is operated by this detecting result.
