IMAGE DATA RETRIEVAL DEVICE

PURPOSE: To easily arrange both an image and additional value by making the additional information correspond to the same position on a 2nd map having the same axis name with a 1st map once the image data is made to correspond to the position on the 1st map. CONSTITUTION: When a key word is provided as the additional information of the image data, a key word map whose axis name matches the axis name of the image map is looked for among plural key word maps. When the matching key word map is found, the key word is arranged on the key word map at the same coordinate position as the position of the image data on the image map. When the key word is already arranged on the key word map, it is rearranged at the same coordinate position as the position of the image on the image map. If the object image data has plural pieces of additional information and there are maps having axis names matching the pieces of additional information, position attribute values are set as to all the matching maps.
