FORCEDLY COOLING METHOD AT THE TIME OF REPAIRING CERAMIC BURNER IN HOT STOVE

PURPOSE: To drastically shorten the cooling time of a ceramic burner part and to prevent the lowering of productivity of a blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: At the time of repairing the ceramic burner 2 of a hot stove for the blast furnace in the hot-state, a fold-up type heat insulating dome 11 sewing a refractory fiber cloth and bulged by air-blasting is carried from a manhole 5 arranged at a boundary between the ceramic burner 2 and a combustion chamber and horizontally fitted to the combustion chamber at the lower part of the combustion chamber and shut off between the upper combustion chamber and, the lower combustion chamber and the ceramic burner. The upper combustion chamber at the upper part from the heat insulating dome 11 is held to >=600 deg.C with an auxiliary heating burner and the lower combustion chamber at the lower part from the heat insulating dome 11 blows ceramic fiber to the side wall. At the same time, the combustion gas is sucked from the lower part of a ceramic burner 2 with a suction blower 28 and the outer air is sucked from the manhole 5 carrying the heat insulating dome 11 and the upper combustion chamber at the upper part together with the lower combustion chamber at the lower part from the heat insulating dome 11 are held to the same negative pressure in the furnace.
