DOOR POSITIONING DEVICE FOR APPLYING SEALER

PURPOSE: To enable sealer to be always applied in the suitable position by tilting a door by a door tilting means by the specified angle when a vehicular door is stopped to the specified work position, performing the vertical positioning of the door and the lateral positioning, and then applying sealer to the door specified position. CONSTITUTION: When a door D is held by a hanger 11, conveyed, and stopped in the work position, it is held by a door tilting and holding mechanism 41 by being moved by the specified tilt angle. That is, it is tilted by operating a rod-less cylinder 51 and moving the hanger 11 by the specified tilt angle. Next, the door D is positioned by being pressed from above and from below by a lower part holding member 44 and an upper part holding member 45 of a door vertically positioning mechanism 43 and from before and from behind by a front part holding member 46 and a rear part holding member 47 of a door laterally positioning mechanism 43. After that, a sealer applying robot 32 is operated, the sealer as a seal material also serving as adhesives is discharged from a gun 33 and applied to the outer peripheral part of the inside of the door D.
