Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To remove NOx contained in an oxidizing atmosphere difficult to be treated by the conventional method. CONSTITUTION: Materials each having at least one kind of property selected from among NOx adsorbing property at ordinary temp., reducing property under heating or NOx decomposing property under circulating inert gas and microwave absorbing property are combined so as to prepare two NOx treating systems each having the three kinds of properties. In the treating systems, the adsorption of NOx at ordinary temp. and the decomposition of NOx under heating by irradiation with microwaves are alternately carried out.
