Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To obtain a stator for a motor in a power tool, e.g. a grinder, in which the wire is protected against damage due to collision of dust against the coil part. CONSTITUTION: The rotor 10 for a motor comprises a core 13 having sixteen teeth 13a extending radially with respect to a rotary shaft 11, a coil part 17 formed by winding a wire in the slots made between the teeth of the core 13, and a wedge member 19 being driven to cover the outside of slots. Before the parts 17a, 17b exposed from the core end of coil part 17 are impregnated with varnish and solidified, band members 21, 23 of felt are wound around the exposed parts 17a, 17b. The band members 21, 23 are also impregnated with varnish and bonded rigidly to the coil parts 17a, 17b. When the varnish is dried up, the band members 21, 23 are solidified to provide strength equivalent to that of plastic. The ribs 23a serve as fins to expel the dust and the band part 23b serves as a cover for preventing collision of dust. |
