PROOFREADING METHOD FOR JAPANESE SENTENCE

PURPOSE: To reduce proofreading errors and to facilitate proofreading work. CONSTITUTION: In the method for proofreading respective proofreading items including analysis (S1) of the morpheme of the text, setting (S2) of various proofreading items to the morpheme data, indication of a part applied to the set item and display (S3) of the list of correction candidates, automatic correction of the part or selection of a term considered to be correct among the correction candidates to the indication for correction (S4), and recognition (S5) of it, the sentence which is corrected by an operator is compared with the text to extract (S6) a corrected part. Then, the sentence including the corrected part is generated (S7) and synthesized sound obtained by sound-synthesizing the generated sentence is obtained (S8). The operator can recognize the propriety of proofreading from the synthesized sound. The operator does not need visual checking for the recognition.
