HYDRAULIC GOVERNOR FOR TURBINE

PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic governor for a turbine, which is used for controlling turbine speed and excellent in responsiveness, and can be applied to any type of turbines and whose main spring and the range of speed change of which are easily adjustable in a short time. CONSTITUTION: Governor impeller oil 07 is introduced into the governing section 2 of a hydraulic governor 1 from a detection device 06, and the governing section 2 is provided with a bellows 4 contained in a governor body 5 and a main spring 3 arranged coaxially with the bellows 4. A turn buckle 22 is installed in the middle of the restoring lever of a speed change device 8 which transmits the displacement amount of the governing section 2. The range of the speed change of the hydraulic governor 1 can be changed without stopping a turbine by adjusting the turn buckle 22, and the result of operation after the adjustment can also be confirmed at once. In addition, since the bellows 4 is operated with small quantity of governor impeller oil, control responsiveness can be improved. Since the main spring 3 is provided outside, the main spring can be adjusted with ease and connected to the restoring lever 9 with ease.
