SEMICONDUCTOR MEMORY

PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor memory which can supply data to a microprocessor at high speed without being affected by variance of power supply voltage, temperature, and a manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION:Control signals PHI1-PHI7 generated shifting successively their phases are inputted from a PLL 20 incorporated in a chip to each internal circuit of an address buffer 3 to an output buffer 9 in a semiconductor chip 1. The PLL uniformly control a phase of a control signal independently of variation of temperature and power supply voltage. each internal circuit is previously charged and equalized by this control signal, after that, signals are successively amplified. Therefore, an operation cycle time can be made faster than an access time and the access time can be fixed.
