Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To dig a furnace core from a tuyere of a blast furnace with a small size device, to improve a gas ventilation and a liquid permeability in the blast furnace and to stabilize the furnace condition by fitting a metallic rod connectable with a hitting device provided with a driving device as a device for activating a furnace core part of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: In the case of increasing the using ratio of pulverized coal in low cost instead of expensive bulky coke for blast furnace in order to reduce the unit production cost of iron-making in the blast furnace, the gas ventilation and the liquid perpeability at the lower part of the furnace are deteriorated caused by the powdering of raw material and the furnace condition in the blast furnace is unstabilized. In this case, a body frame 4 provided with a wheel 11 on a working floor 3 at the front of the tuyere 1 of the blast furnace is arranged so as to be capable of advance/retreat, and the metallic rod or metallic pipe 10 connectable with the hitting device 5 connected with the driving device 6 is fitted on this body frame. The furnace core part is dug by inserting the metallic rod 10 from the tuyere 1 and hitting with a hitting device 5 to improve the gas ventilation and the liquid permeability of the furnace core part at the lower part of the blast furnace, and the blast furnace operation is stabilized.
