Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To provide a method for centering a long size material to be cut in relation to a rotary cutting blade type cutting device, which can efficiently and easily perform the centering. CONSTITUTION: At the time of setting a long size material 1 to be cut having a circular cross section in a rotary cutting blade type cutting device and supporting the long size material 1 to be cut with both sides of the cutting device and centering the long size material 1 to be cut so that the center of the long size material 1 to be cut coincides with the center of the cutting blade of the cutting device, centering of the long size material 1 to be cut is performed by using a centering jig 40 having a centering hole 41 at parts near both ends of a cutting stroke of the rotary cutting blade type cutting device.
