INTERNAL ACCIDENT SENSOR FOR GAS INSULATED APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To detect an internal accident and to know the size of the accident by providing a differential pressure sensor for converting the pressure difference between a first gas chamber in a sealed vessel with a second gas chamber communicating with the first chamber via a gate valve into an electric signal to output it. CONSTITUTION: A first gas chamber 1 communicating with a sealed vessel 15 and a second gas chamber 2 communicating with the first chamber via a gate valve 3 are connected to a differential pressure sensor 4. The sensor 4 converts the pressure difference between both the chambers 1 and 2 into an electric output signal 4S, and outputs it. A signal processor 5 judges that an accident occurs in the vessel 15 when the output of the sensor 4 rises, outputs an alarm signal 5S. Adisplay unit 6 displays the signal 4S of the sensor 4. Thus, the pressure rise value at the time of the internal accident and the size of the accident can be known, and can be used for the solution of the accident cause or the accident remedy.
