MATERIAL FOR CONCRETE BLOCK CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE: To enable a person having comparatively little experience to construct a concrete block structure with good accuracy and with good efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A material for a concrete block structure comprises a concrete block B provided with plural slits 3 and a dowel D1 with a spacer which is fitted to the slits 3 at the time of stacking the concrete blocks B and is hard to be deformed. The plural slits are holes which are provided at fixed spaces along the side of a shell on the upper surface and the lower surface of the shell 2 and elongated toward the side of the shell. The dowel D1 with a spacer comprises a spacer having a thickness corresponding to the lateral joint provided between the vertically stacked concrete blocks B and a dowel which is integrated with both surfaces in the direction of thickness of the spacer and inserted in the slit 3.
