GRIPPER FOR WRITING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE: To obtain a gripper for a writing instrument capable of correcting to a correct holding way and getting a user scarcely tried even if writing for a long time by incorporating a front top sharpened in a longitudinal section, an intermediate part formed in a smaller diameter than that of the front top, and a rear thick diameter part formed in a thicker diameter than that of the intermediate part. CONSTITUTION: A gripper 1 for a writing instrument is formed with an oblique surface inclined from the front end toward a front top 1A, with a maximum diameter shaft part 1B disposed at the position separated from the top 1A rearward in a longitudinal direction, and connected with a recess curved surface from the top 1A to the part 1B. The top of a rear thick diameter part 1C is formed at the position separated rearward in the longitudinal direction from the part 1B, and the part 1C is raised with roundness. According to this, particularly at the time of gripping it by an elementary school student, the thick of the forefinger 2 is brought into contact with the curved part from the top 1A to the minimum diameter part 18, the nail side of the middle finger 3 is also brought into contact with the part 1B. The thick of the thumb 4 is brought into partial contact with the rear thick diameter part 1C from the top 1A to the part of the part 1B, thereby making a user correctly hold the instrument.
