FOOTWEAR AND INSOLE FOR FOOTWEAR

PURPOSE: To ventilate an air in a footwear, invariably provide refreshing wearing feeling, and improve fit feeling by shrinking or expanding an air chamber section in response to the applied state of pressure. CONSTITUTION: A sole 2 of a footwear 1 is provided with an air chamber 3 formed with a flexible material containing rubber or a synthetic resin and shrunk or expanded in response to the applied pressed, suction pipes 5 having a first check valves 4 capable of feeding air into the air chamber 3, and exhaust pipes 7 having a second check valves 6 capable of discharging the air from the air chamber 3 and extended in the air direction, i.e., tiptoe direction. When the footwear 1 is worn for a walk and the body weight is applied to the heel, pressure is applied to the air chamber 3 to shrink it, and the air in the air chamber 3 is discharged via the check valves 6 kept in the opened state and the exhaust pipes 7. When the body weight is shifted to the tiptoe side, no pressure is applied to the air chamber 3, the check valves 4 are kept in the opened state, and air flows into the air chamber 3 via the suction pipes 5.
